Join us in the rural gem of central England, the Peak District. The Peak District was England’s first ever National Park, established in 1951 and we can see why. A true walker haven, there is an almost endless supply of trails to explore through the rolling hills and deep valleys.
There is a real raw and wild feel to the Peak District. Covering over 550 square miles, the National Park boasts an array of landscapes, habitats, and environments for you to explore. Vast, open landscapes are broken up by deep valleys and quaint villages with their many wide rivers and streams creating the perfect place for a wild swim or to just to dip your toes.
All of this, and only a three-hour train journey from Central London.
You can choose to be as active or relaxed as you like on this yoga retreat. Enjoy the free guided hikes and then enjoy the grounds of the retreat to relax and take in the stunning view. If you fancy spending the day curled up in front of the fire with a book and tea, feel free.
How do I get there?
The best way to arrive by train is to go to Chesterfield, although you can also go to Sheffield. We suggest booking the train times we recommend on the Peak District retreat page on our website in the 'how to get there' section (scroll down) and then you can arrange to share taxis with others
How far is it from London?
It is about 3 hours from London if you are driving.
How long are the hikes? Are they hard?
The hikes last for about 4 hours and the level is beginner level.
Do I need hiking boots?
Yes - it is best to have hiking boots, all weather gear and a backpack to carry layers and a bottle of water and a packed lunch with you.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
Yes - this venue is not a designated yoga venue and so we ask that you bring what you need to enjoy your yoga practice.
