Morocco is situated in the north of Africa bordering the Atlantic and Mediterranean coast as well as the countries of Tunisia and Algeria and the Sahara desert to the south. It has so much to offer to explore and is so rich in history, culture, art and religion.
We have two locations in Morocco for your adventurous spirit; one is the High Atlas Mountains for the hiker in you and the other is the more cultural and relaxing (well staying at the venue is relaxing!) area of Marrakech. Read more below to find out more about both destinations on their own destination pages
Ho do I get to the yoga holiday in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains
Marrakech: Fly into Marrakech airport and the venue will have arranged taxis to pick you up and then it is a 20-minute taxi ride away. This transfer cost is included in your holiday cost.
Atlas Mountains: Fly to Marrakech airport. We have a recommended flight times so that we can arrange 1 transfer to and from the venue. If you book your flight outside of the recommended arrival and departure times you can either wait at the airport for the transfer or if you book later you will have to pay for a separate transfer.
Please look at our 'how to get there' sections on both holiday pages - scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it.
Whats the difference between the two holidays?
The Atlas Mountains is a short break of 4 nights 5 days and it is right in the Atlas mountains staying at a hiking lodge and there are hikes every day that are included in the price. It is more active.
The Marrakech yoga holiday is a week and it is more relaxing as you deserve to take time out for yourself! You can choose to be busier and enjoy a guided hike to the Atlas mountains or a day trip to Essaouira. Or you can relax around the pool and enjoy the spa centre with a traditional hammam and massage. A guided tour around Marrakech is included and then you can choose to go back to Marrakech city to explore as it is only 20 minutes away.
All meals are included in both these holidays.
Do they provide hairdryers?
We suggest bringing your own if you think you will need one.
Are yoga mats provided?
They are not on both these holidays - we recommend you bring your own.
